Rice Road Project Boil Notice

Over the next two to three weeks (beginning Monday, August 31, 2026) customers in the Rice Road area will be experiencing temporary losses of pressure.  This loss of pressure requires that the district issue a boil water notice for all affected customers.

The losses of pressure are expected to take place at midday, typically from about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. These outages are necessary for the district’s contractor to tie in new mainlines.

Once the contractor and district determine that there are no more necessary planned outages, the district will take water samples from the area and notify customers when the boil notice has been rescinded.

Below is a formal boil notice which will take effect on August 31, 2026.
